INTRODUCTION
Recommended Spraying Instructions – Please Read Before Using Spray Wrap.
*Always Test on Surface Before Applying for Suitability
Practice First:
When spraying the first base coat of any colour, it should be almost transparent. The colour will build up with additional coats.
After painting, the surface will be slightly textured but will settle overnight.
Not Recommended Over Freshly Painted Surfaces:
*Always Test on Surface Before Applying for Suitability
Practice First:
- It is important to experiment with the product, spray equipment, and colours before application.
- This will ensure the best possible result and verify your desired outcome in the paint job.
- Always wear appropriate PPE and apply in a well-ventilated area.
- This is a solvent-based product; take care not to damage existing surfaces.
- Stir the product thoroughly before and during application.
- Spray Wrap will NOT adhere to rubber and NOT suitable for some plastics (test first).
- Apply Spray Wraps away from hot drying winds.

Not Recommended Over Freshly Painted Surfaces:
- Sometimes, on brand-new cars or freshly painted cars, the paint is not fully cured. If your car has been painted within the last 6 months, it is best to wait until fully cured or test before applying.
- Test on a small, inconspicuous area and remove, ensuring the new paint is fully cured.
- Testing is Always Suggested Before Applying to a Repainted or Repaired Car.

HOW TO APPLY SATIN OR MATTE FINISHES
# Instructions:
Once completely dry, it is recommended to apply 2 coats of 303 Aerospace UV Protectant using a microfiber cloth as per the manufacturer's instructions.
This product is available at Supercheap Auto. This coating helps protect the vinyl from dust and dirt and enhances the colour.
Regular application is advised.
- Ensure the car is clean and COMPLETELY dry.
- Mask off any areas not intended for painting, including door jambs.
- Thoroughly wipe on and wipe off wax and grease remover twice to eliminate all waxes and polishes.
- Set the spray gun to the desired settings, including fan size and air flow.
- Apply one light, see-through coat initially.
- Follow the recommended number of litres for your car size, overlapping each pass by 50 to 75%.
- Allow each coat to dry; drying times will vary based on temperature, typically between 5 to 10 minutes. Observe when it is dry.
- Apply 8 thick, wet coats for subsequent layers.
- The coats may appear textured at first but will eventually smooth out.
- Peel the masking tape while the coating is still wet, pulling the tape back on itself in a cutting motion.
- If the coating tears or detaches from the surface while still wet, press it back down
- Any overspray can be removed using Spray Wrap Remover.
- If "angel hair" or cobwebbing occurs from the gun, adjust the spray pattern; if persistent, thin the coating with no more than 10% xylene.
- No topcoat is needed for solid colours.

HOW TO APPLY AUTOMOTIVE COLOUR CODES

While these are the actual colour codes, the basecoat will determine the final colour.
These may NOT match the rest of the car exactly, as the original coat may be faded or have a different base colour.
Automotive colour codes are typically used by experienced painters and are best applied with a 2K gloss clear topcoat using a compressor spray gun setup.
